学博士学位，后赴荷兰Delft理工大学数学系做博士后研究，主要从事分形几何

与动力系统研究，在自仿集，奇异函数和数的表示理论等方面都做出了杰出的工作。 担任普陀区政协委员、美国《数学评论》评论员 。主持国家自然科学面上基金5项，参加多项他人基金；发表论文80余篇。研究成果曾获教育部科学技术奖一等奖和上海市自然科学奖二等奖。

报告摘要 ：For real numbers x > 1 and β > 1, a sequence ) is called an expansion of x in base β if , where  denotes the biggest integer less than β . Fix an , let U(x) = {β > 1 : x has a unique expansion in base β}.

  In this talk, I will introduce some results on U(x), a recent joint work

with my students Jiayi Xu and Zhiqiang Wang. This work is motivated by
