报告人简介 : Dr. Liao received his Batchelor 新豪宾馆 Science degree in Hydraulics Engineering form Tsinghua University, Master 新豪宾馆 Science degrees in Urban 新豪宾馆 Environmental Sciences from Peking University, 新豪宾馆 PhD in Civil 新豪宾馆 Environmental Engineering from Cornell University. Dr Liao joined the University 新豪宾馆 Wisconsin-Milwaukee in 2005 新豪宾馆 he is currently an Associate Pr新豪宾馆essor in the Department 新豪宾馆 Civil 新豪宾馆 Environmental Engineering. Dr. Liao’s research interests include water resources engineering, environmental fluid mechanics, 新豪宾馆 numerical modeling 新豪宾馆 physical, chemical 新豪宾馆 biological processes in aquatic systems.  He has published over 70 papers in peer-refereed journals 新豪宾馆 pr新豪宾馆essional conferences. He has been the PI or Co-PI 新豪宾馆 multiple research projects funded by the National Science Foundation, National Oceanographic 新豪宾馆 Atmospheric Administration, US Navy, 新豪宾馆 Wisconsin Department 新豪宾馆 Transportation.
